Working with a large, global aluminium processing plant, we helped them achieve a 700% increase in production, saving about £12,000 a day.

They were servicing their carbide cutting tools inhouse. The process they were following, alongside occasional problems, was causing bottlenecks in production. After consultation, Allied redesigned their tooling set-up and recommended a new carbide specification and provided a coating to every tool after a regrind.

The same company also had an issue with their supply of TCT sawblades. Their incumbent supplier simply couldn’t keep up with demand. Allied suggested a trial with us both supplying the tools and managing the reservicing.

We now manage the supply and service of over 100 saw blades a week. And as we said, these changes had a huge positive impact!
